a point of view
Inspired by the classical, new and now; minimal — maximal

Founded in Calcutta in 2009 by Bombay-born design enthusiast Richa Kanoi, Bombaim began with a simple instinct: to bring exceptional Indian design to a city ready to discover it. Named after the Portuguese rendering of Bombay, the multi-designer fashion house has grown into a considered world of clothing, jewellery and objects—uniting emerging talent with established names across two distinctive homes in Calcutta and Bombay. More than a store, Bombaim is an invitation to look closer: to appreciate the hand, the material, the story and the people behind what we wear. Its spaces, shaped by heritage and filled with warmth, reflect the same belief that has guided Richa from the beginning—that luxury is not about excess, but about quality, connection and the pleasure of finding something that feels entirely your own.
